Cancellations in Ukraine

2014 World Ten Dance in Kiev, UKR © Roland In a message to the WDSF Sports Director, Boris Deich, the President of the All-Ukrainian DanceSport Federation, asked for the upcoming European DanceSport Championship in Uzhgorod to be cancelled.

For the European Youth Standard in Sudak, President Deich asked for the championship to remain on the calendar as scheduled (21 June) until the end of this month. Should tensions in the Ukraine persist at that time, it too would be cancelled.

WDSF Sports Director Marco Sietas is already in the process of making arrangements with a substitute organiser for the European Ten Dance to be held elsewhere.
